“With cream, please,” I say it loud and clear,

But what I get in the cup, it’s not what I asked for here.

"Cappuccino mit Sahne oder Milch"

Strophe 1:

In meinem Lieblingscafé, da sitz' ich gern,

Bestell' einen Cappuccino, das hab' ich so gelernt.

„Mit Sahne, bitte schön,“ sag' ich laut und klar,

Doch was ich dann bekomme, das ist nicht, was ich erfahr'.

Refrain:

Cappuccino mit Sahne oder Milch,

Was ich will, das weiß ich ganz bestimmt.

Doch oft nehm' ich, was kommt, halt so hin,

Statt einfach zu sagen, was ich wirklich will.

Strophe 2:

Die Milch ist schön geschäumt, doch nicht, was ich bestellt,

Ich könnte was sagen, doch ich lass' es sein, die Welt,

Ist voller kleiner Kämpfe, die man führen kann,

Doch manchmal ist es leichter, wenn man sie einfach umgeht.

Refrain:

Cappuccino mit Sahne oder Milch,

Was ich will, das weiß ich ganz bestimmt.

Doch oft nehm' ich, was kommt, halt so hin,

Wir sollten lernen, zu sagen, was uns fehlt,

Nicht immer schweigen, weil der Mut uns oft quält.

Hinhören und zuhören, das ist, was uns fehlt,

Beim nächsten Cappuccino, wer weiß, wie's mir dann gefällt?
